The special dust extractor CTL 48 EC/B22 with EC-TEC motor is designed for continuous use. The robust ABS plastic container is additionally protected against combustion, making it safe to suck up aluminum, paper, filter dust, lacquer, as well as glass or carbon fiber reinforced plastics. Thanks to the powerful, long-lasting, brushless EC-TEC motor and the huge 48-liter capacity container CLEANTEC CTL 48 LE EC/B22, it is ideal for industrial use. The impressive geometry of the container ensures maximum volume. At the same time, the swiveling castors, rear wheels, and push handle provide exceptional mobility. Fully utilizing the volume is facilitated by the fully integrated flat filter in the extractor head: thus, the gross volume of the container is almost equal to the net volume. The particularly compact, high-power turbine ensures a corresponding suction capacity. The 3900 l/min volume flow does not blow anything into the environment except for clean air. It has permission for "L" class dust.

  • Complies with ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU Zone 22 - dry and combustible dusts are reliably sucked up
  • The EC-TEC motor provides durability several times greater than that of a universal electric motor
  • With the new suction hose: smooth and elastic - its smooth outer covering slides perfectly on any surface
  • With integrated connection for EAA and pneumatic tools
  • Antistatic function: prevents the buildup of static charge during operation
  • Cable holder for winding up the cable to maintain order
  • Permission for dust class L
  • Economical, as the SELFCLEAN dust bags maximize container capacity utilization
  • Compressed air connection with supplied air E/A automation
  • EAA connection

Outstanding Features
Faster achievement of ideal results:
Safe and robust EC-TEC motor and container made of ABS plastic with combustion protection - for work with combustible and explosive dusts.

Comfort and safety.
Compact design with a flat filter and maximum volume utilization. Saves time, as filter bag changes are less frequent.

Advantage when using the system:
Systainers, SORTAINERS, and WORKCENTER workbenches are fixed on the dust extractor via SYS-Dock.

Detailed product information

Permission for zone 22 operation
Complies with ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU Zone 22 - dry and combustible dusts are reliably sucked up

Safe down to the smallest detail
The integrated power socket and construction without recesses minimize the risk of accumulation of potentially explosive dust.

Reliable. Durable. Powerful
EC-TEC - the result of Festool's concept of brushless motors without carbon brushes: no need for technical maintenance, strong, and long-lasting.

High suction capacity
Very powerful, compact, and lightweight: the high-capacity turbine ensures constant, high suction power.

Tear-resistant fiber dust bag
SELFCLEAN synthetic fiber dust bags are self-cleaning. During vacuuming, the bag inflates, and when the vacuum cleaner is switched on, the bag contracts, causing the dust adhering to the inner walls of the bag to fall off. This technology ensures high suction efficiency until the bag is completely filled.

Safe transport
The locking brake ensures stable positioning of the dust extractor. Large wheels prevent the dust extractor from tipping over. The wheels are swivel-mounted and made of impact-resistant material. The dust extractor is comfortable to carry due to its central weight distribution.

Spacious container
The internal walls of the container are smooth, and the main filter is flat. This design solution allows the dust bag to expand fully. Thus, the volume of the bag is utilized almost 100%.

For working with class L dust
The vacuum cleaner is certified for dust emission class L. It is designed to remove dust containing hazardous substances with limit values of > 1 mg/m³. The device's suitability for a particular dust class is indicated by a large red sticker on the housing.

Particularly versatile
For dust, dirt, and water. During wet vacuuming, the dust extractor switches off automatically, thus protecting the motor. The filter for wet vacuuming can be changed quickly.

Main application areas

  • Designed to remove dust containing hazardous substances with limit values of > 1 mg/m³
  • Suction of dry and combustible dust in zone 22
  • Extraction from electric or pneumatic tools using the integrated on/off automation system
  • Suitable for dry and wet suction
